Smart energy management for retail real estate

For real estate partner Redevco, active within retail real estate, we investigated how we could make their buildings more energy efficient and future-proof. Within their retail portfolio, we took a close look at several sites, with the aim of making optimal use of locally generated energy.

An important part of this assignment was the study of energy sharing and energy sales between different properties within the same parcel or area. We worked out a feasibility study for a private distribution grid, which would allow for smart distribution of solar energy to multiple users.

At one of the sites, we also envisioned a concrete concept for a 1.3 MW PV installation, good for significant local renewable energy generation.

In addition, LAMMP drew up several EPC NRs. This provides Redevco with the necessary insights and documents to further improve sustainability.
